Before entering into a relationship, be sure that courteous acts which indicate affection are acceptable to you because they are reciprocal.  There is a process whereby a person concentrates on some features of the environment to the relative exclusion of others.  A motionless erect stance with arms at the sides and feet together is perfect for standing, but makes the entrance into marriage impenetrable.
