WHAT'S IMPORTANT

Image
We can spend a great deal of our time with each other being correct, standing our ground, and/or justifying ourselves until the quality of time spent together is rendered undesirable and is better spent by oneself. We each can warrant our own position from a familiar vantage point, however, if being right only leads to being partnerless, could we have considered taking a different approach for the sake of compatibility in friendly and delightful opinion and action? If our way of regarding every situation or topic consumes the fun out of being around us and this seems to be a pattern, we may want to consider what is important. Maybe we can integrate a different action of opposing something that we disagree with, or disapprove of, with respect to creating a more amicable social or verbal interaction.

BEYOND ILLUSIONS OF PERFECTION

To have the spine damaged is only significant if we are a broken-backed old horse. Even as a broken-backed book our pages can still yield knowledge. The physical damage to the body caused by violence or an accident can only reduce us in strength or concentration if we allow our quality or purity to be affected. The same is true for trauma endured in childhood. We can never speak on a severe or trying experience however; to assume the ordeal cannot be seen by others, or doesn't continually reappear subconsciously in our life is wishful thinking. Although, damaged inanimate objects may have their value diminished, our humanly value is enhanced when we embrace and live our truths. We can choose to leave the wounded where they fell, or leave the wounds at the place we were wounded, harmed, or injured.

THE ENLIGHTENED

Image
To pray daily for the happiness of our partner, benefits us in more ways than we know. We can prevent the smallest infractions from causing large ripple effects in our lives. If we just give to others what we would hope to receive from someone else and realize that being human is to look deep enough inside of them to find ourselves. Those led by the divine Spirit of God, have knowledge, spiritual insight and are instructed and encouraged in moral, intellectual, and nonsecular development.

ENERGY TO LIGHT

"Be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Satisfaction is the pleasure felt when moving towards our inherent capacity for coming into being. Be a cut above what our genes and environment has predestined for us. There is power in discovering the optimistic abilities of our own minds. Always behave in ways that represent the divine nature and quality of elevation of mind, exaltation of character, and/or conduct of who we truly are. Be the model of excellence or perfection of a kind; one having no equal.

TEACHERS CAN LEARN

Image
Commit to memory or learn by heart, worthy skills or knowledge that is imparted by trusted advisers. Gaining knowledge of some fact, state, affairs, or event is not always presented through scholastic means. In times past, our best instruction came from parents and grandparents who spoke knowledge into our minds with simple metaphors and examples that were never forgotten. We will communicate our anxieties to the psychiatrist or minister, while interacting more with colleagues than those with our best interest at heart and no profit to gain. Some of our earliest lessons in life were that we are never too old to learn. Yet, we turn off our ability to gain knowledge by closing our minds to organic sources more divinely intended for us because we have determined there is no more that can be taught us that we have not already learned. Attempts to give us a better approach at some task is met with contempt or shame felt when our inadequacy is made public. We can instruct or direct ot

LIGHT OF LIFE

Image
Blessed are those who bestow happiness upon others. Be the light of the world, see the good that is often underneath the cloud of shadowy mischief. Be an extension of the goodness of God.

HOLY HABITATION

God, the father of the fatherless. He places the lonely person in families and frees those bound with chains. However, the evil disobedient people shall dwell in a dry land forever.

NEW SEASON

Image
We have come through a season of tribulation, treachery, fire and water. God has brought us to a wealthy place in life. When we cry unto God with our mouth, and He is glorified with our tongue, He is merciful unto us, and will bless us as His face shines upon us.

HELPING THAT HARMS

Image
When we consistently improperly or excessively use narcotic drugs, we develop characteristics of abuse in other areas of life. Soon we become skilled in the utilization and misuse of our friends and family. They are just an enabling extension of our being abnormally tolerant to and dependent on something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming. We then wonder, why don't they just play their darn part in our addiction? If they do, eventually the problem will go away. Not the dependency, the person dependent!

PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE

Image
When the responsibility is ours for the behavior of one we have charge over, we often lack in energy or will for intervention to their rebellious ways as if it is some reflection on us as caretakers. We become peacefully resistant or quiet in response to misdeeds committed, either moral or ethical. Not exerting influence or change to obvious wrongdoings, offering no resistance while being inactive but capable of becoming active. However, the smallest of disagreement with one who should be our counterpart in life’s journey, whose behavior for which we have no accountability, we have or show determination, and an energetic pursuit of a disposition to bicker, quarrel, or fight. Our developed style can only be described as abrasive and contentious. This acrimonious spirit we have nurtured, boisterously and noisily aggressive for the slightest infringement. Where great care should be exercised to maintain harmony, our conduct is characteristic of an enemy or one ea
