UNTAMABLE TONGUE

Opposites does not spring from the same source. 

"Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh. (James 3-11)" 

The tongue can carve people down to nothing, or turn them into greatness.

"Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. (James 3-5)"

"With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. (James 3-9)"

"Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. (James 3-10)" 

Words from the tongue can strike the brain like shrapnel and become embedded for years.

Do not be one who prides himself with an unreasonable or inordinate self-esteem. The enemy will attempt to lure you into unpardonable sins that entail a total loss of grace. Faithful people of God experiences contentment one feels when one has fulfilled a desire, need, or expectation of true value and worth. A faith walker prides himself on making it into God's good graces.
