SOUL'S GATE

We must be guarded not to even allow our taste be known in fear of others using them either by running opposite to, or praising them.  That which is desired strongly is the gate of the soul. The focus of thought or feelings, even a desire for sensual intimacy with a spouse can be an incentive that is inconsistent with reason or logic.  The most sensible knowledge necessitates disguising our passions.  Let the reserve of carefulness combat the curiosity of inquirers.

Do not be one who prides himself with an unreasonable or inordinate self-esteem. The enemy will attempt to lure you into unpardonable sins that entail a total loss of grace. Faithful people of God experiences contentment one feels when one has fulfilled a desire, need, or expectation of true value and worth. A faith walker prides himself on making it into God's good graces.
