HELPING THAT HARMS
When we consistently improperly or excessively use narcotic drugs, we develop characteristics of abuse in other areas of life. Soon we become skilled in the utilization and misuse of our friends and family. They are just an enabling extension of our being abnormally tolerant to and dependent on something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming. We then wonder, why don't they just play their darn part in our addiction? If they do, eventually the problem will go away. Not the dependency, the person dependent!
