WHAT'S IMPORTANT
We
can spend a great deal of our time with each other being correct, standing our
ground, and/or justifying ourselves until the quality of time spent together is
rendered undesirable and is better spent by oneself. We each can warrant our
own position from a familiar vantage point, however, if being right only leads
to being partnerless, could we have considered taking a different approach for
the sake of compatibility in friendly and delightful opinion and action? If our
way of regarding every situation or topic consumes the fun out of being around
us and this seems to be a pattern, we may want to consider what is important. Maybe
we can integrate a different action of opposing something that we disagree
with, or disapprove of, with respect to creating a more amicable social or
verbal interaction.
